The image clearly shows a spring trap attached to the eagles foot of feet.

Hearing appalling news via @policescotland about a young golden eagle, photographed near Crathie, Aberdeenshire, flying around with a spring trap clamped round its leg. Pls report any sightings to Police asap.

    Nothing suprises me with the wildelife destruction in th UK and the Scottish Government just say nothing.I stay in Scotland and ive heard or saw nothing on the news only heard about it on Radio 2 and RPUK. UTTER JOKE. keep up the good work.

    Grim stuff… a pole trap, are they legal? …. who took that photo ? Has the bird been found they are hard to miss ?
