Judge at Preston Magistrates Court imposes reporting ban in case involving the killing of two peregrines on Bleasdale estate.

Following representation by the defence barrister Mr Justin Rouse QC, District Judge Goodwin direct, under the Contempt of Court Act 1981, Section 4(2), “no publication of preliminary interests“, due to what he described as “inappropriate reporting of the previous hearing“.  District Judge Mrs D.J. Goodwin, has from today 10/01/2018 imposed a total reporting ban on this case until the submission of legal arguments on March 14th have been made.
 
Legal argument will now be heard by the court on 14th March, with a trial date set for 23rd April at Preston Magistrates Court.
