Scottish Shooting estate claims Golden Eagle very much alive, after RSPB claim the eagle may be dead.

A young Golden Eagle is reported missing by the RSPB after its satellite transmitter went off-line on the North Glenbuchat Estate near Strathdon.

The eleven month old male golden eagle had been satellite-tagged by the Scottish Raptor Study Group but had stopped collecting data between March 5 and 6 this year.
