The Grim Reaper targets Hen Harrier Killers in the Forest of Bowland

2016 will be remembered as the first year since WWII that there have been no breeding Hen Harriers, or Peregrine Falcons nesting in the same year within the Forest of Bowland, due entirely to human persecution, not the climate and most certainly not the result of a shortage of food.

The RSPB are to be congratulated, nay applauded, for pulling out of the DEFRA Hen Harrier  (none) Action Plan.  Now they should get behind Mark Avery’s plan to ban all driven grouse shooting in England before we see the last nesting Hen Harrier in England. This Tory government will never consider a plan to licence grouse moors, their financial supporters and grouse shooting MP’s would never support such a plan.
