On behalf of the North West Raptor Group I also wish to thank Chris Packham for having the bottle to speak up for our wildlife. We support everything that Chris has stated, after all it’s the truth.

May I also make this appeal on behalf of England’s threatened birds of prey, in particular the Hen Harrier now on the very verge of extinction, the result of persecution by gamekeepers. Please take the time to sign Mark Avery’s e-petition calling upon the Westminster Government to ban all Driven Grouse. Ask your friends to sign the petition as well. Retweeting these details will also help the plight of endangered birds of prey which use our moorland as their home, all too often with little success.
