BBC Look North West: Hen Harrier Appeal

Hen Harrier

The loss of the three nesting male hen harriers from the Forest of Bowland, Lancashire, on estates owned by United Utilities is being threatened extremely seriously by the RSPB and Lancashire Police. You can view the latest BBC appeal which appeared on the Look North West programme this week by following the link below. Anyone with information is urgently requested to contact the Lancashire Police. The loss of the three breeding harriers represents a serious threat to the ongoing attempts to return this iconic bird of prey back onto England’s moorlands where it so rightly belongs. The RSPB are offering a £10,000 reward to anyone who is able to help bring those criminals to justice.

  • THE SKY DANCING SHEPHERD

Start with UU ask why they did not give Whitendale Farm to RSPB on a long lease?

Editor’s Comment. Why don’t you explain why, because United Utilities will not tell anyone their reasons.
