Police appeal after peregrine falcon shot in East Devon

Police in Devon are appealing for information following the shooting of a peregrine falcon. The injuries were consistent with the peregrine having been shot.

The peregrine falcon was found on Monday 5th May in the Seaton area of East Devon having sustained an injury to its wing and unfortunately could not be saved.The injuries were consistent with the peregrine having been shot.It is unknown what type of firearm was used and Police are requesting that anyone with information contact them on 101 quoting police reference KN/14/176 or alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111 or report online at www.Crimestoppers-ukorg.
