Ask the Prime Minister not to cut the life from the English countryside

The RSPB are asking every one to sign this petition this weekend!! David Cameron is talking about £600 million which could be used to benefit wildlife in the countryside. If that money goes to wildlife it will help Birds of Prey. That’s why you should sign the petition. Thanks Editor

Instead we need him to continue to support the great work so many farmers have done for nature on their farms.

This weekend the Prime Minister will decide whether to spend £600m of taxpayers’ money on wildlife-friendly farming or to keep it in the much bigger fund that goes straight to farmers with few strings attached.

We think that this money should pay for things that the market doesn’t, like thriving wildlife, clean water, carbon storage and opportunities for quiet recreation. Without this £600m the Government will not be able to build on the good work many farmers have done so far – and we could even see wildlife habitats that have been created within farmland over the past seven years destroyed through lack of funds!

Join us in calling on Mr Cameron to keep the countryside alive and to make sure this money continues to help farmers save our threatened wildlife.

Email Mr Cameron today!

It’s imperative that he knows how much voters care about our farmland wildlife and doesn’t cut off this important lifeline for nature.

Many thanks for all your support,

Steven Roddy
