Six barn owls found burned to death on Merseyside farmland

Six barn owls have been found burned to death in a barn on land off Moss Lane Formby. Constable Rachael Krueger said they had deliberately been set on fire in a callous attack.

In addition, a buzzard was found shot half a mile away.
